Yes I am still married with my dream girl and we are still waiting for our angel to come. I also found a new group called "Himig Pinoy" choir founded by our friend Fr. Capt. John Joel Vergara. I have made a lot of friends from Couples for Christ and formed a prayer group.

Morning is finally living here with me. I took her to places that I have been and going on trips with friends. We joined "Couples for Christ Australia" ,and "Himig Pinoy" choir. She's found work and doing well with it. And I think we are happy to be here in Melbourne and doing things together.

Life isn't always a bed of roses here in Australia. We also had our ups and downs, struggles, obstacles and financial obligations. Even though we struggle, we still find happiness and find a silver lining to all of this. We always try to resolve things together and we have a lot of support groups (Filipinos) to help us.

DR. Since I was born, I was used to living in an inconvenient way compared to the developed countries. I was used to sleeping on a hard mat and eating rice everyday. Our family was fortunate enough to be able to afford a comfortable life by engaging in retail and wholesale business which didn't go on to the next generation.

It has been my dream to go to a developed country ever since I graduated. Live in a safe, clean and livable environment. I was very lucky enough to land a permanent visa in one of those developed countries called Australia.

It's been a year since I lived here and so far so good. First, I lived with my cousin for ten months and when it was time to live with myself I rented a room near my work. Then, I immediately bought myself a house and car with the help of my nephew, who is a broker. I was living happily with my new home which I filled with nice appliances, courtesy of the First Home Owner's Grant Boost.

I also met new Filipino friends about my age. I was always happy to see them and speak our native tongue. I just met them recently and since then I was glad I could express myself again. We played basketball every Saturday and sometimes have drinking nights. I was glad that I found them because they have become my pillars that hold my insanity.

I am waiting for my wife now. She will come soon to live with me. I will have to teach her the ways that I have learned here. I will always be thankful to the people who has taught me the ways of this great country and it is time for me to do the same to my wife. She will have to endure what I have endured and learn what I learned ( I am speaking about driving here!). I am sure she will have a great time living here with me.

DR. Lol!

I would be heart broken if I were Le Bron. If I were him I would cry and if I were him I would blame nobody but myself.

Poor Cavs, the favorite of many people because of the greatness of Le Bron. He fell short on challeging the Lakers for the Finals. You know what Le Bron does not have that Kobe and Jordan has? They have Phil Jackson. Yes, a great coach. A coach who can adjust his players to counter the attack of the opposing team. A coach who can make a team play rather than relying on one man to do his job.

Comparing him to Jordan has not done very well with James. Yes they share the same famous 23, but still Jordan has a greater 23 than him. What I mean is he can do successive championship rings that no one can match. Kobe isn't bad either. Thanks to their pimp Phil Jackson.

Le Bron your time is up, get to work and get those rings. You may still have a lot in you, you may be young, so please grow up. You need to control your energy and start learning jump shots and fade away jumpers.

Dunks, drives and passes are effective but those fade away jumpers are killers. They are simple but hard to defend. I just love it when Jordan or Kobe does it-graceful, simple and effective. When you hear the 'SWOOSSH!!!', it is music to the ears. The way Le Bron does it is "BANG!!!" -so destructive, chaotic and complicated.

DR. It took me almost a month of doing virtually nothing everyday and just waiting for it to arrive. Now that it's here, I finally became busy and relieved.

The cash train I am referring to is my job, I have been jobless for almost a month last April. Everyday I prayed that one day someone will give me a job or I would get my job back. That was a really depressing time for me, but I survived.

Being out of job made me realize that life sometimes really is down. It is like a wheel constantly spinning. Sometimes you are lucky and sometimes you are not. Sometimes you are doing fine then sometimes it is not. Whatever the case maybe, I learned that even you are down in the darkest days of your life, there will always come a time that the sun will shine. God has given us rain in order for things to be alive but he does not allow it to rain everyday. The light will eventually come just as morning brings us a new hope.

DR. All I have right now is HOPE.

Hope that one day my wife and I will be together again here in Australia. Hope that her visa will be approve. Hope that happens soon.

Hope that I could have a more stable job. Hope that one day things won't be slow. Hope that I could be happier.

People today needs hope. It's all they have to have to reach their dreams. Things sometimes does not turn out the way we hoped for. We must always be strong for trials are there to test us and make us stronger.

Loneliness sometimes gets to me. I cry every night when I am alone. After my wedding I just want to work immediately-and play. I have been enjoying some of my weekends outdoors and it was really a new experience for me.

First, we went at Portland. There was windmills there and the scenery was just great. I saw my first wild kangaroos at the bushes and the blowholes are really great sight to see. It was a relaxing three day affair. We also went fishing(or squidding) and I did not catch anything-I guess it was one of those nights.

Then I went to Wilson's Prom. It was really a nice place to be and the beach was purrrfect. I also saw my first wombat there. Too bad it was burned lately due to bush fires. It was really a very nice environment.

Lastly we went to Grampians. We went hiking at the Pinnacle, it was a hard hike up the rocky mountains but we got to the peak. The view was exhilarating and the hike was really worth it. Camping and hiking are now my favorite outdoor activity now. I am looking forward to my next trip.

DR. I am happy that my wedding was over and also happy that it went well.

13 December 2008, a very special day and a milestone in my life. As a first time husband to my first time wife, I vowed in front of 350 guests inside God's house that I would always love my wife for richer and forr poorer until death do us part.

I am really happy during my wedding in general. I think we had a grand wedding complete with entourage and nice reception. God knows how happy I am that I found a wife that I could cherish for the rest of my life. I can't wait to have my own family.

I will be back to Australia and start to work hard for the arrival of my wife. I am excited at the same time scared of this new stage in my life. I have thought of this since I was young and now its definitely coming into life. I will lose my bachelor's life and I am excited about this new life call Marriage.

I dread every minute without her. I long for her like a child to her mother. I need her warmth and encouragement. I miss being with her while I am away working here in Australia.

All my life, I never loved anyone more than my fiancee. She is my beacon of hope. Without her, I have no strength. She has become my foundation, holding my wits together so I could keep myself in one piece. She protects me from anything that may harm me or our relationship. I knew, from the first time I saw her, in her eyes, I could see my unborn children. I really hope it turns a lot like their mother.

I always loved her. She may be like most girls, pretty, charming and nice. But, the best thing I like about her was she was determined, never gives up, strong willed, and smart. She belongs to me and she will become the pillar of my future empire. She will run along side me planning and building. She will soon be the most powerful girl, I could always tell it was inside her.

There will always be someone for everyone. I found my someone 7 years ago. I had doubts that we may never last but all that is now past. I look forward now for my future with her. I am really excited to live life along side her.

DR. I love living and working here. Everything is great as of now. And I hope things will get better and better as I explore this new world called O.Z.

I celebrated my birthday here. It was nice because my fellow mates in my office bought me a cake and we had a little chit chat during the afternoon break. It was definitely different here because where I came from its usually the birthday boy who treats everybody in the office. I never lost that tradition, I treated my relatives to dinner that night.

I love fishing. Its really fun! My niece took me fishing at Barwon Heads and it was nice. I love the serenity of the bay while the fishes nibble on my bait. I caught a Ling fish and it was a great sight. My mates were also happy for my first fish. It was really beginners luck. The most thing I love about fishing was the beer inside the cooler. It was so manly and refreshing. I would do it again and again. I think I found my calling.

I will be back to the Philippines for my wedding. I am really excited for my wedding. I will take my wife in Australia and live happily here and also my kids to be. I am really excited about my future here. I wish all my friends and family could experience this. I am having the best times of my life.

DR. I love it here and if I could help Filipinos to come here and live their dreams I would always recommend Australia. Things in Australia are so efficient, fair and very strict. I wish Philippines will be as livable as Melbourne but then again I think there is a balance in this world.

DR. I researched the kind of lifestyle of the Aussies but I think experience is still the best teacher. My goal is to be rich and provide for my future family.

I was not lonely in Australia because my cousins were here to take care of me. I was fortunate to have them and I also gained friends instantly.

I was in love with Australia ever since. We had an instant connection the moment we met for the first time. We never had dull moments and we always have something to do. Boredom was not an issue with us and being laid back is a passion. Australia has been nice to me and I promise to take care of the trust it gave me for the rest of my life.

I can't wait to petition my fiancee back in the Philippines. The last day in my office was quite sad. I will truly miss all the people who have helped me grow to be a good quantity surveyor. I found a family here in my work place, they have been my support during my stint here in DLSPI.

I already said goodbyes to my friends and colleagues. I am happy to hear that they will also miss me but I will miss them more. I will be leaving them today but their memories will stay with me forever.

Another Milestone in my life has just ended. I look forward to the new challenges Australia has to offer. I am always GAME to face life's trials and PUMPED up to face challenges. Ellen Pantaleon has called me to tell me the news that my Class BN Subclass 136 Skilled Independent Visa has been approved. I was so happy to hear it. I was speechless at first and it was a great moment. Another successful milestone in my journey called life.

The next day I gave a letter of resignation to my boss. He was shocked of course, but he wanted me to be in Davis Langdon Australia. He was a great boss and I am sure I will miss him. He was so professional and cool when problems arise. He laughs at problems and during meetings everyone listens to his advise.

I went to Church with Morning yesterday and the Homily really suits what I feel. I got what I prayed for but of course it is only the start of a new life in Australia. It will be an endless cycle of wanting to have more and being burdened with all the struggles in life. I know God will only be the one who will give me rest. I hope my life and my journey will be a fruitful one.

DR. A world where I will be the new guy. I need to fit in to a society which is very different in terms of race and culture. It was a happy birthday because there was a big event boxing match between the Philippine's Manny Pacquiao and Mexico's Barrera. My family shared the day with me and together with some friends and relatives. It was really a great day for me and I truly feel that I am not alone in this world.

Though I am not a perfect person but I try to live my life perfectly. I may not have all the riches in this world but I am rich enough to enjoy what little I have. I guess life has truly gifted me enough and God has blessed me so much. I have learned to be patient and assess things. I also learned that if I do not belong to something I would grab anything that will come my way. I truly believe that whatever I am doing, it will become meaningful someday. Every little step of the ladder is a sure step to success.

I love what I do and where I belong. I love my fiancee, my family, my work, my friends. I cannot be happier. I know that I am destined to be great someday. I am inspired by the story of Jesus who began his public life only on his thirtieth and maybe that age would also be my age where I would start to be successful.

Australia wait for me next year.

DR. I proposed to the only girl that I want to spend my whole life with. She has been my girlfriend for six years and will soon be my partner in life. Tentative day of marriage is January 2009. Here's how I proposed:

The ring:

The ring was brought by my sisters. I let them choose it because they have such excellent taste in jewelries. It was expensive but the joy it will bring is -priceless.

The date:

I chose the 10th of August because it was the day before her birthday, which was also the day I first professed our love six years ago. The venue was at Cafe Ysabelle at Greenhills, San Juan Metro Manila. The venue was classic and romantic. Fine dining and piano brought out the ambiance for such a romantic event.

The proposal:

The proposal was a bit sluggish. I brought out the gift box from my pocket and told her that I have a gift to her. After I hand over the ring, I told her that I want to marry her. She did not answer at first because she felt embarrassed with the people watching us. I too felt embarrassed but I did not care. I only cared for her answer.....which was YES!

DR. There are a lot of studies involving these systems that makes construction safer, economical, faster and better. These are innovations aimed to improve the lives of the workers and the end-users.

Technologies in Construction are now more adept in answering concerning the environment. Global warming, as an issue, is now a global awareness. Helping to minimize wastes will significantly contribute to help the environment’s well-being. Economically speaking, this approach costs more than usual conventional approach. One example is using the EcoSystem™ environment friendly elevators which use AC gearless motors, unlike hydraulic type elevators that can cause leaks and harm the environment. Another example is the Water-free urinals that do not need water to flush urine, saves thousands of gallons a year.
Building Systems are also changing. Building systems are more advanced, economical and faster than before. The process are also streamed lined to produce same results but at low cost. There are also processes that limits labors on the job site by using advanced equipments that are safer. These systems such as Quadlocks™, Phenix Sytems™ etc. makes construction easier, less wastes, high quality, safer and economical.

In my experience as a Civil Engineer, I have seen countless of mistakes, reworks, unsafe environment, bad management, poor accounting and poor quality of construction. Philippine contractors are not adapting systems as specified by the National Building Code or the Occupational Health and Safety Commission. They are more focused on profit rather than the well-being of workers. They are focused on saving more money rather than taking care of the environment. The Philippine Law is there but the implementation is not. The contractors tend to relax on the laws that protect the environment and the people. I hope there will come a time that buildings, big and small, will be audited by the government on these matters and I also hope they will be penalized for such actions. The problem with construction is discipline. We must discipline our sub-ordinates and ourselves to these small things that can be a big issue when neglected. We must be diligent enough to impose the laws that can also benefit the quality of the building.

Civil Engineers, such as me, should start learning new methods rather than be stagnant in doing the same routine. I know more now but I still hunger for more knowledge. I am striving to gain more and it is always fun to learn new methods and systems. It is really not the body strength that produces more money but it’s the brain’s power. How much you know are the things that are paid more.

DR. That is what Ces't La Vie means. My life is heading towards a great direction and I do not even know where. Hehe..

Our life undergoes a series of trials an events. There are things that we do not expect and sometimes we have no control of it. The choices that we will make are sometimes choices that we do not like.

People can be very manipulative sometimes, selfish even. People hold on to things that they like even that thing does not want to be hold on to. It always happens to lovers. Love fades and lovers wants freedom. The fire and the desire that each of them have, must be rekindled always. It must be taken care of and always put a reason to stay. It's how they think of things to fuel their relationships that makes them creative.

DR. The last blog, before this, has gotten the attention of the Global Company. Because of what happened, the company will not renew my contract. I was saddened about the news that day, but I have to stay strong and firm.

I may not gotten what I expected but at least I could go on. There are consequences to actions done on my part and I am man enough to accept it. I have decided to go to another level and get married. I am not getting younger and I need someone in my life. A partner whom I will grow old with and share the hardships of life. My journey has gone to another stage, a stage where there are no actors or props. The stage that will definitely change my life towards being a mature person.

It was true what my father have said to me. Marriage is like death, it comes unexpectedly. You feel it inside you and yet the decision to get married is like an explosion. It's a decision united by heart, mind and body. The human nature inside us makes us think that this is what God made us to do. We were born to find partners and reproduce. We must pass to the next generation our genes so that mankind will remain dominant.

Love, truly is a remarkable word. I love my girlfriend so much that I have stayed with her for 6 years now. Now that I decided to marry her and bring her to Australia. I feel that if I go there alone, I will truly be working like a man without a mission. A Filipino man in Australia with no direction because everyday I may go home alone. I need her beside me and she needs me too. I think this is the best thing to do.

DR. I am keeping distance with my girlfriend. I like to keep a distance from her from time to time so we will be missing each other more often. It is hard to do it since she was used to be always with me. I am training her to be away with me from time to time so that when I go to Australia, she would not miss me so much. I do love her but sacrifices have to be made in order to maintain our wonderful relationship.

I do think it is working. At first, she was angry at me for leaving her but when we see each other again after several days, she missed me so much. There is so much fun in it and I am able to do the things that I enjoy, ALONE.

My Australia dream is getting nearer, I just need funds to pay the necessary fees. I am sure that my life will be much greater there and I will be able to help a lot of people working there than staying here at the Philippines. There is so much Politics and Poverty here, I love my country and I have not given up on it.

DR. We still keep in touch through SMS. I truly do miss her though. It is tough when someone you love goes away. I really am not used to be away from her for a long time.

It's hard to sleep these past few days. I think I have insomnia. Even though I was drunk the other day because of Erik's son's christening at Teresa, I still have not slept.

I am thinking of looking for other work. The work here does not fit me. It is also too far for me, I go here everyday from Quezon City to Laguna, 4 hours of my time is wasted everyday because of travel. I have not slept so good since I have to wake up very early everyday and sleep very late.

I guess I will still pray for answers to my problems.

Here are 20 tips for someone who has a difficulty sleeping

1. Try to go to bed at the same time every night. This helps condition your body to sleep during the sleep phase of your biological clock. Once this happens, your emotional disposition will greatly improve.
2. Cut back on coffee, tea and soft drinks that contain caffeine. Most colored soft drinks contain enough caffeine to keep you awake. Clear soft drinks such as 7-Up and Sprite contain no caffeine.
3. Avoid eating large, heavy meals before going to bed.
4. Deep physical relaxation can greatly enhance your ability to fall asleep when you want and to stay asleep once you are there. Follow these directions and you will become deeply relaxed. Lie down and get comfortable. Close your eyes and do some deep breathing to get rid of your surface tension. Next, visualize or imagine that you have tiny faucets at the end of each finger and at the end of each toe. The faucets are all turned on and all the stress and tension in your body is draining out through these faucets. Feel it happening as you watch the stress and tension running out of the faucets. Now, concentrate on your feet and imagine that the muscles of your feet are becoming as loose and limp as a cooked piece of spaghetti. Spend a few minutes focusing on your feet and let them relax. Don't try to make it happen. Focus on that cooked piece of spaghetti and just let your muscles go. They will relax. Next, concentrate on the muscles of your calves. Spend a few minutes there and let them relax. Then focus on your thighs and let them relax. Work up your body letting each part relax. Relax your buttocks, stomach, chest, back, shoulders, arms, hands, neck, head and face. As you relax each successive part of your body, the next part will become easier to relax. Don't rush yourself. Focus on your muscles becoming just as loose and limp as that cooked piece of spaghetti. As you do, your body will drift into a deep state of physical relaxation. If you are not already asleep, you will be able to drift asleep at this point.
5. Have a glass of warm milk about 30 minutes before bed-time. Milk contains L-tryptophan and that boosts the serotonin in your brain. The serotonin causes you to become sleepy and to fall asleep easily. L-tryptophan is also abundant in turkey and it's believed to be the culprit responsible for that post-Thanksgiving dinner drowsiness.
6. Don't use your bedroom as a place to work. It conditions your body to become alert and stressed instead of relaxed.
7. Avoid alcoholic drinks in the evening. Alcohol may help you fall asleep easily but it leads to erratic sleep that is not restful and may also lead to early morning wakefulness.
8. Listen to calm, soothing music that will transform your mind and body into a deeply relaxed state. There are all kinds of cassette tapes and CDs geared to help you relax and sleep. Try some and find the ones that work for you.
9. Take a warm bath before bedtime. It will relax your body and prepare it for sleep. Research indicates that cold or very hot baths tend to energize and wake you.
10. Buy a comfortable mattress and pillow. Being physically uncomfortable can lead to serious wakefulness.
11. Practice deep breathing exercises. It will help you be calm and stay relaxed all day and will help you fall asleep and stay asleep at night. Try this exercise. Lie down on your back and close your eyes. Lay your hands on your stomach -- between your ribs and naval. Now inhale deeply so it feels like your stomach is filling with air. As you inhale, your stomach and hands should rise. This is breathing from or through your diaphragm. Once you have filled your body with clean, fresh air, exhale and let the air flow out naturally. Don't try to force it out. Now get into the rhythm of inhaling and exhaling at a relaxed pace. Continue for five or ten minutes. Your whole body should relax and sleep should come more easily. There are some people that recommend you inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth. It doesn't appear to really matter so do whatever feels most comfortable for you.
12. Avoid naps if they interfere with your normal sleeping.
13. Moderate exercise on a daily basis appears to help with normal sleep patterns. Just don't exercise within an hour before going to bed. The exercise will stimulate your adrenaline and will wake you up.
14. If you are still awake after 30 minutes, get up and do something until you feel sleepy and then try again. Staying in bed while you feel awake conditions your body as well as your mind to associate your bed with wakefulness and/or anxiety.
15. Once you are in bed and comfortable, visualize that you are someplace very peaceful and safe. You can go to what I call your inner sanctuary. To do this, you visualize or see in your mind's eye, someplace you consider safe and relaxing. It can be someplace real or someplace you just imagine. It can look anyway you want because it's your fantasy place. Now visualize that you are there and allow yourself to let go and relax. As you do, you can allow yourself to feel relaxed, to feel safe and you can visualize or imagine yourself drifting into a deeply relaxing sleep.
16. Establish a bedtime ritual before going to sleep in order to key your body to relax. Follow the ritual every night. This helps to condition your brain to sleep at a specified time.
17. Sleep in a well-ventilated room with the temperature cool enough to cool your body (60 -- 65 degrees is considered best for restful sleeping). Temperatures that are too warm interfere with normal, restful sleep.
18. Keep your bedroom dark. Light coming through our eyelids interferes with our normal sleep cycle by sending signals to our brain that its daylight and time to wake up. If you can't keep your bedroom dark, you can accomplish the same thing by wearing a mask over your eyes.
19. Don't watch TV, read or do any other mentally stimulating activities before going to bed. Anything that stimulates your mind should be avoided prior to going to bed unless you want to lay their thinking about what you saw or read.
20. Research indicates that sleeping on your back is the best position for relaxing. It allows for the deepest, restful breathing. At the same time, avoid sleeping on your stomach. It causes pressure on your lungs and results in shallow breathing. The deeper you breathe, the greater the relaxation.

DR. The world needs love right now. I remember how beautiful it is to be cuddled by someone you love. It is nice when you go home from work and to be greeted with kisses and enthusiasm by someone you dearly love. And that is my reason why I go home to our apartment everyday from work, enduring the 2 hour trips from Laguna to Quezon City by riding the shuttle from Laguna to Makati and riding the Metro Rail Transit(MRT) from Makati to the FX terminal, then riding the FX taxi from the MRT to Road 20 then crossing the busy street of Mindanao Ave. with no stop lights or pedestrian lane. What a sacrifice? I could die from accident, muggers, terrorists or hit and runs. I could have just rented a nearby apartment at Cabuyao, Laguna for only 2000 pesos a month, but I did not. It is love that drives me to this sacrifices that allows me to continue what I am doing. I really am happy and fulfilled, knowing that when I get home, I have a beautiful girlfriend waiting for me.

DR. I feel so restless. I slept at 3am this morning and have to wake up at 4am to go to work at Wartsila. Yawn!

Yesterday was very relaxing. We went to Exotica in Laguna to look at the obese snake named Samantha. It was a restaurant that serves Filipino exotic foods like salamander, sharks, frogs and other weird and exotic stuff.

The scenery was nice as we go back home after our snack at Exotica. I was with my brother-in-law, my sister and their two sons. Rocky, the older brother, suddenly farted inside the car. It stinks so bad that I called it radioactive fart. It also stinked so bad that Apa, the younger son, puked inside the car. Talk about gross nephews, hehehe. But I like them both a lot even though they are so gross.

I better get back to work. As a safety officer of the plant, I need to be alert. Fatigue and sleeplessness is one of the factor that contributes to safety. I already had an accident because of my restlessness. I should have not gone to work today. It is a waste if I didn't report to work. I will lose $20 if I didn't report today and its a big money for someone like me especially in a third world country.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://jeumerc.blogspot.com/2007/01/alone-restless.html' title='Alone... Let me give you a recap of what I did this season.

I spent Christmas at our house in Tanay, Rizal. We went to Church with my sisters, nephews and brother-in-law before our christmas Dinner. Technology has been used in our church because the priest used Projectors in order for people outside the church to see and hear the word of God. During the Mass, it was nice to reminisce the old days where I served God as a Knight of the Altar and I always completed the Misa de Gallo. After the Mass and Christmas dinner we exchanged gifts and I got my usual polo shirt, shaving cream, and T-shirt. The kids loved their toys and it was nice to hear people appreciating each other gifts. After the gift giving, my friends texted me so we could meet for a night of beer until morning. I got out with baby white (my car) and fetched each one of them from their home. I started with Bobby then Lucky, then Erik, then Tonio, Allan and Xian (he was already asleep so I just did'nt want to wake him up. We bought Colt 45's and some junk food and ice then we went to our favorite spot in the Lake View in Pililla, Rizal. It was cold but the beer and jackets made us warm. The jokes and conversations was nice. It was the greatest and happiest times in our lives where we just talked non-sense and forget our problems. We all went home drunk and I could still drive, thank God nothing bad happened.

The Christmas Morning came and I woke up with a hang-over because I was drunk that night. My God sons and daughters came to our house to get their Christmas Money (100 pesos each) but I was too drunk to give it to them. I did not wake up for them, so instead my older sisters just take the money out of my pocket and gives it to them. I was such a scrooge, sleeping at Christmas Day. After I woke up I took off to go to Bulacan so I could see my girlfriend. I also gave christmas money to her siblings and to her Mom who is suffering from rheumatism at the back. I slept at their house before I went to Quezon city to prepare for my subic Trip with her.

The Subic trip was my itenerary. I have work there and I was facilitating the Wartsila Land And Sea Academy construction. I also did my safety inspection and I got the Lease contract. I did all my work there and it seems like a vacation for both of us. My girlfriend stayed at Legenda Hotel which was a Christmas gift from someone close to me. We were also treated to a dinner for two at the Seafood by the Bay restaurant. It was nice to be there with your girlfriend.

We went home to Tanay from Subic and we stopped over to Bocaue, Bulacan to get some fireworks as a tradition during New Year. It was our custom to celebrate the New Year with loud bangs from Judas Belt and some nice lights from the pyrotechnics that we bought. It will ward off the evil spirits and bring light to wealth and happiness. Every year filipinos do that and every year some casulaties happen because of the Dangers of exploding firecrackers.

I did not celebrate New Year at our house. My girlfriend and I went to their house in Bulacan to celebrate New Year. It was so loud because Bulacan is the center of fireworks making. We also had our New Year dinner and went to sleep afterwards. After New Year we went home to Quezon City to prepare for work the other day.

DR. Its our tradition to give gifts to everyone especially our loved ones. I have done my christmas gift and I know my family and friends are gonna love it.

I have been thinking.... Why do people don't feel the way they feel on christmas when it is not christmas. I mean can we not give gifts on July or August? Why not March and april? To tell you the truth I dont know why!

I love christmas, it gives me joy and happiness. It takes me back in time where I receive gifts from my family. I also try to give them gifts even I don't have enough money.

LOVE and SHARING is what christmas is all about. I pray that all families be happy this christmas and I hope some of us realize that we are luckier than the people who can't feel christmas. People who does not have money to even buy a ham for their christmas dinner. People deserves to be happy in their own little way. And If we too help a less fortunate family, we will make them happy. In turn our hearts will be filled with joy because we have seen them happy. Lets make a difference this season. Let us extend our hands to those who can't even spell christmas, those who cannot read christmas. Make them feel what they cannot read and write.

DR. God knows this problem so I prayed that He give me that money. Well I gotta work on it He said.
I got this telephone call telling me that if I wanted to go abroad, someone from Maldives wants to hire me as a civil engineer. I told my self that, Hey! What do I have to lose, its a tropical paradise anyway. Maybe I can see Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise there during their honeymoon. hehehe.
I also got an appointment from Mr. Respall because I wanted to ask him how can I go to Australia by paying his fees later.
I still pray that all these will have positive results. Then there was this night of fright...

As I was sleeping, lights off, TV was off, I suddenly heard this loud THUMP!!!! I woke up immediately because of the noise. I opened the lights and saw that my water container had fallen from the table. I looked at my watch and saw that it was exectly midnight when it happened. I was a little frightened because there was no one around and there was no logical explanation how the water container broke at the floor. Unless there was a strong wind or earthquake or maybe someone pushed it.I was alone in my room, there was no earthquake that occured and there was definitely no one around. I guess I have an invisible friend in my hotel room.

I fell asleep again but I opened all the lights and opened the TV for some loud noises (I was told that Ghosts can't stand noises).
I was again awakened by a strange noise. It seems that someone was peeing at my hotel comfort room. Brrrr! It sent chills in my spines. I immediately covered my face with the comforter and waited for that someone to flush. I guess ghosts dont know how to flush, hehehehe.

What an experience? I told my boss about it and he booked me to another hotel. hehehe!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://jeumerc.blogspot.com/2006/12/ghost-story-boooooooooo.html' title='Ghost Story!!! I am still a bit sleepy because I have only little sleep. We sold buy one take one Boy Bondat™ burgers last night at the Patio of Norzagaray Bulacan. Its been a hit! Many people wants to buy our delicious burgers. Morning, and her family helped us in selling. Actually, I am just a supporting cast on the crew, her mother was doing all the work, heheheh. The sales was not that bad at all.

I learned a lesson from my girlfriend. We bought that franchise Boy Bondat™ and I wanted to quit selling. She wasn't a quitter and look at how the sales was going. I know I was wrong to quit because "QUITTERS NEVER WIN!"

DR. Its also the day where I get to watch PBA and Bubblegang. I could stay up late and not worry about office the next day.

What I did Yesterday:
I sort of went home yesterday and went back to QC in the evening. I drove my girlfriend to Norzagaray, Bulacan to visit our Boy Bondat Buy 1 take 1 burger business. I drove again back to QC at around 1am. I was really tired, but it was worth it.

Funny Story:
My girlfriend was in Makati to go to the bank with his brother Ace. We opened the door to our condo but realized it was chained inside. We cannot unlock it outside it must be unlocked inside. My GF's sister May Rio is sleeping inside the bedroom. We keep on calling her name, knocking hard at the door and pushing the doorbell for the nth time, but she still was sleeping like a baby. The door was partially open so we tried to throw things at the bedroom to wake her up but still no luck. Alas! I must do something to lay our weary bodies on our beds. I took out my cellphone with a retractable cord attached to my pants as sort of protection for cellphone snatchers (genius huh!). I used my Mcgyver skills to attach the end of the cord at the chain and used the top of door as a pulley. I closed the door the and, POOF!!! It became coco crunch!!! (just kidding hehehe!) I have unlocked it. And confronted the criminal sister for locking us up. Cheers!!!!

Watch Out!
Subic Bay! It was not in my daily plan to come home. I went to work as usual but our shuttle to Laguna left me. Everyday the shuttle leaves at 7:10am but every thursday the shuttle departs earlier at exactly 6:50am to avoid getting a violation. I blame it all to the number coding scheme here in the Metro Manila.

What to do? I went home to Tanay, Rizal. I haven't been home since last month and it was nice going back home. I went home to research about my curiousity with earning at the internet.

When I got home, I opened my computer and downloaded a software from www.limewire.com to get an e-book guide in online marketing. I got what I wanted but still It wasn't enough. I still wanted more.

I finally got my adsense reply and I am going to set it up tomorrow. I am learning to earn at the internet, I think this is the best opportunity for me to earn extra bucks since business in the Philippines is still slow. I know with the right tool, I will able to achieve financial freedom which is my goal.

I have to go back to Manila. My girlfriend doesn't know that I am at Tanay. She knows I am at the Wartsila Office, hehehe! Got to go!!!

Quote for the day that I texted to my friend Bobby yesterday because He and Xian has some issues to settle and I am acting as their peacekeeper.
"Pride!!! its a scary SHIT!"

DR. Right now, I have submitted my Comprehensive Demonstration Report (CDR) and I am waiting for the favorable response from IEAust. It will take a huge amount of money but I know this is for the best.

Of course I would'nt want to live my country. I have a good paying job and I have my friends here and my loved ones. The phrase "Keep on Walking" originally came from me but later stolen by a friend of mine and made profit out of it, his name was Johnnie Walker.

In my blog I will discussing to you all the exciting things that happened in my life.
